Fiat 125 Special | 1970
The “Special” edition of the Fiat 125 was equipped with a more powerful engine, 5-speed and associated trim. This one has very nice period Cromodora wheels, and is fitted with the (4) square headlights dating it as a post-1970 car. The 125 design was both exported and licensed to different auto maker all over Eastern Europe, South America, and Northern Africa.
Street-parked on Valencia Street. San Francisco, CA.
Reminds me of our Fiat in India ^_^
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
—Frank Herbert, Dune. (via ruineshumaines)
“The feelings that hurt most, the emotions that sting most, are those that are absurd; the longing for impossible things, precisely because they are impossible; nostalgia for what never was; the desire for what could have been; regret over not being someone else; dissatisfaction with the world’s existence. All these half-tones of the soul’s consciousness create in us a painful landscape, an eternal sunset of what we are.”
—Fernando Pessoa, The Book of Disquiet (via showslow)
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
—Mark Twain (via bokura)
